FOTCW IV: Advocacy This blog post contains information about our group’s advocacy entitled “AkbaySaka: Amplifying the Voices of an Unheard Community”. Specifically, you’ll see here our Advocacy Poster and Advocacy Video. Living in a developing country where access to equal opportunities and basic needs is often denied perpetuates inequality and hinders progress. The majority of the population strives to work and find multiple jobs but still struggles to make ends meet due to the low income they have to bear. The farmers from Tartaria Silang, Cavite, are one of the many unfortunate Filipinos to experience such miserable lives. We are known for being resilient; it’s what gives us strength to withstand difficulties. Thus, the resilience that we entail in our blood emphasizes our warm support for those who are in dire need.
